Tribal Administration
I. Operations and Procedures
A. Application Processing
- All citizenship/members applications are pre-approved and submitted the same day to the Yahcalo Ndigena Nation Secretary & Tribal Commissioner.
B. Collaboration with Tribal Authorities
- Close collaboration with tribal leaders and tribal councils ensures authenticity and accuracy in all registrations.
C. Data Privacy and Security
- The Yahcalo Ndigena Nation is committed to strict data privacy and security protocols to protect the personal information of all members.
II. Requirements
A. Registration Process
Tribal Name Requirement
- Applicants must choose a tribal name, which will be displayed on their Tribal ID/DL.
Ancestry Information
- Include native ancestry information such as the name of the relative's tribe and their relationship.
Document Submission
- Applicants must sign the registration document and email it to [email protected], Call/Text/Email for e-registration or for an paper application if necessary.
Registration Fee
- The one-time fee is $360. If unable to pay the full amount upfront, a down payment is required, and a payment plan will be arranged. Upon payment or down payment, applicants will become instant citizens, with access to tribal services and the ability to obtain a Tribal ID/DL.
B. Tribal ID/DL Process
- Photo Submission
- Applicants need a photo taken (without glasses or hats) and must sign their native name. The information, along with a government-issued ID, native name, signature, and mailing address, must be emailed to [email protected]
- All non license drivers must undergo a written driving test & road test. For all drivers currently license no testing will be required.
- ID/DL Mailing Timeline
- ID/DL's are typically received within 2-3 weeks. For faster delivery within 10 days, an extra service fee may apply.
C. Tribal Vehicle Registration & License Plate
Registration Process
- Upon payment, if no custom plate is chosen, standard license plates will be generated by the Yahcalo Ndigena Nation Federation and noted on the tribal vehicle registration paper.
Required Documents
- Provide a picture of the vehicle’s pink slip or, if unavailable, the registration paper and vehicle details (VIN, Year, Make, and Model) along with a mailing address.

License Plate & Registration Timeline
- Plates and registration are processed and mailed the same or next day depending on operating hours. Expedited shipping options are available, otherwise, standard mailing takes 3-10 business days.
All citizens, family trusts, and tribal clans are beneficiaries of the tribe’s tail estate and trust.
